As we embark on the holiday season, it's the perfect time to reflect on how the very first online school term is faring. Each classroom has strived to transform itself into a space of global learning, and the need of the hour is hands on training that focuses on innovative teaching methods to enhance the student experience.
To meet this specific training need, the Australian Consulate-General in Mumbai and The Pomegranate Workshop proudly announce a series of STEM workshops for teachers delivered by Australia's national research organisation, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).
The first workshop in the series on Sustainable Futures will be held on Saturday, 28th November. The session will be led by Education Specialist, Bill Flynn who has been responsible for developing and managing CSIRO’s Sustainable Futures programs for the last decade.
About Sustainable Futures:
Sustainable Futures is an education program that combines the latest in climate science with sustainability. This workshop will explore the range of cross-curricular resources available for Energy, Biodiversity, Carbon Chemistry, Food Security and Agriculture as well as Carbon Storage, and provide information on how to access and use in the classroom.
