Writing Fiction is an intensive workshop where writers of any level – beginners or professionals – can find their voice and hone their craft. The workshop is divided into three broad segments - in the first segment, participants will explore elements of Fiction such as Plot, Character, Setting, Conflict, Dialogue, they will read and critique work by other writers to understand the elements, individual styles and varied genres. The second segment will have them ideate on their short story; decide the best approach, the theme etc. under the guidance of our facilitators. The final segment will involve the participants writing their own short story. They will receive extensive feedback through group and individual critiques of their writing. They will participate in challenging writing exercises and take-home assignments through the module.
